"You may see or consider yourselves as the best creations there are in this world but you simply pale in comparison to what I can do!" boasts the Seraph.
"We never thought of such a thing! And you who have never walked on this earth before have no right to speak as if you know the nature of this world!" spat I, whose anger is at the bursting point.
The Seraph who was just about to retort didn't get the chance, for that was the moment Amira chose to attack with her crimson-stained hands. She had had enough. The time for talk was long over. She simply wants to finish this whole encounter. The sooner, the better.
"Source of life draw forth, paint thy enemy and put thee to ruin. Bloody Chaos!" Alexa chanted.
The Seraph smirked, "Oh, is it wise to use such a spell? One who is above humanity cannot feel pain from that, dear Alexa." The Seraph then chanted out a spell of its own - "Drumming despair of the Ancient one, relive thy beat and flash thy sorrow! Thunder Clap!"
As the Seraph and Amira's spells collided, Ash stood transfixed on the spot, unable to comprehend the horrors for which she and her two partners are now facing. There may be three of them, yes. Three so-called destined heroes who are now fighting against a being whose powers are certainly almost equal to a god's.
She was shaken out of her trance however, when I caught her in takedown tackle, so that both of us would avoid the reflecting terror that is the Seraph's spell. Amira however, was hit full force by the spell and is thrown quite a ways from where we lay. Sprawled on the ground, with her arm and midsection bleeding, she was barely conscious. But what's amazing is that the fire in her eyes, seemed more alive than ever.
"Angel," she spoke weakly; almost in a whisper, "Use that technique... please..."
"Amira, I... very well." I really couldn't think of any reason not to use the forbidden technique. Not when all three of us are caught in such a dire situation. Well, it's certainly make or break for us.
And so I stood strongly, giving Ash a gentle squeeze on the shoulder before I looked upon the Seraph and steeled myself to put an end to our encounter, once and for all...
